One of the most difficult things when you’re trying to lose weight is choosing the types of foods to eat and choosing which ones you ought to avoid. Now here is where day by day diet programs come in. Fat burning diets or daily programs provide a list of foods that you are allowed to eat. However, only a handful of them provide a list of foods that you need to avoid.

Now this article will not only provide you with the different foods that you are allowed to eat, but those that you need to avoid as well.

Foods to Eat

Among the most helpful types of foods that you must always include in your day by day diet routine are fruits that contain vitamin C which include papaya, grapefruit, tomatoes, lemons, oranges, sweet limes, guavas, lemons and tangerines. These citrus fruits not only contain Vitamin C, they also have fiber and other fat burning properties that help the body in burning excess fats.

Vitamin C is crucial for any fat burning diet programs to work because in recent studies, experts were able to find out that this type of vitamin can help the body in processing fat much faster by stimulating an amino acid known as carnitine, which helps increase the body’s capacity to burn fat.

Another type of fruit that you ought to include in your day by day diet program is apple. This type of fruit is known to contain Pectin, which, according to different studies, restricts the cells from absorbing fat. Pectin also enables the body to absorb water from other foods, and as you may already know, water helps in releasing fat deposits from the body. Apples also contain antioxidants that helps in preventing metabolic syndrome, which is a condition wherein there is an excess fat found in a person’s belly.

While undergoing a day by day diet program, you may also try to include calcium-rich products in your weekly meal. Calcium is basically acquired from milk, cheese and yogurt so make sure that the cheese or milk is non-fat or at least low fat. Calcium is important in any fat burning diet because it helps in increasing fat breakdown in the fat cells.

Now there are still other types of foods you can include in your day by day diet program. These foods include nuts, cardamom, curry leaves, protein-rich foods, fish, green tea, honey and vegetables such as broccoli, carrot, beans, sweet potatoes, soybeans, chilies and asparagus.

Foods to Avoid

Foods that contain too much sugar and salt are the most likely types of foods that you need to avoid when undergoing a day by day diet. These foods mainly include chips, cakes, brownies and ice cream. You should also avoid pastas, breakfast cereals, peanut butter, chocolates, calorie-loaded cheese, dressings, margarine, whole wheat bread, guacamole, lard, etc.

Avoid eating too much fatty meats such as bacon, chicken meat, salmon and beef. But, if you want to include them in your day by day diet program, just make sure that you’re not exceeding the recommended daily calorie intake which is 1200 to 1500.
